The Energy-Onix Roadcaster has been designed to deliver outstanding performance at any one of 16 preset channels in the VHF (150 to 170 MHz) or UHF ( 450-475 MHz) frequency ranges. These channels have been allocated by the FCC for Broadcasters to originate programs from remote locations such as shopping malls, athletic events, or special events.

The combination of The Roadcaster and appropriate antennas will reliably provide a 30 to 40 mile RF connection to the receiving antenna, which is normally mounted at the transmitter tower. Normally the receiving antenna is an Omni directional, high gain antenna, while the transmitting antenna is a high gain directional antenna.

The Roadcaster transmitter can operate from either a conventional AC source (115 or 220v) or a 12 volt DC battery. Thus it can be installed in a mobile van and, together with its front panel mixer, can serve as a “Remote Studio”.

Since both the transmitter and receiver are interchangable with Marti Equipment they can be used to replace a “non- working” unit.
