UNIVERSAL PA DESIGN
The solid state design is the same at all power levels from 250 watts to 3000 watts. All Pulsar transmitters use identical broad band power amplifier modules. Amplifiers are fully interchangeable within any Pulsar series transmitter, regardless of power level. This permits a standardized spare complement to be located at one flagship station.

DESIGNED TO KEEP YOU “ON THE AIR”
The Pulsar series is designed to remain “On The Air” in the unlikely event of a PA failure. Thermostatic protection, for example, will shut down a PA in the unlikely event of cooling fan failure. Remaining modules will continue to operate without any temperature rise or thermal stress.

We know that broadcasters demand reliability along with impressive features. To keep you “ON THE AIR”, every Pulsar incorporates extensive surge suppression and overload protection. A full range antenna line coupler is standard for less-than-ideal antenna systems. Two simple, reliable ferro resonated power supplies are used with the hot-plugable power amp modules. Conservatively rated and cool running, the choice is Pulsar -- field proven by real broadcasters in the real world.
